To develop a library of 30 e-learning modules to be used by multiple colleges in their delivery of Engineering, Health and Social Care and Childcare courses. These modules were required to improve learner engagement with remote learning, and to enable the colleges to engage with an increased number of learners in the local area, in these key curriculum areas. This was delivered as part of the College Collaboration fund (CCF) programme, the aim of which is to address common quality improvement priorities in FE colleges. The lead college within this consortium was also keen that they receive a fully managed service, from scoping out their requirement, through to delivery and embedding the modules within their Learning management Systems (LMS).
Eidos Consulting provided a fully project managed service to co-ordinate input from stakeholders and subject matter expert teams across the 3 colleges, and to meet strict deadlines in line with DfE funding requirements.
To ensure that we were able to create high quality modules that reflected the learner needs, Eidos Consulting supported subject matter experts with content development by providing storyboard training and facilitating multi-stage content reviews.
The final modules are fully designed and branded for each of the consortium member colleges, and will ensure increased engagement with the learners through interactive content, ongoing assessment, embedded video and graphics, and further opportunity for stretch and challenge.
